Becoming involved in a committee is one of the best ways to enhance your member experience with BOMA Fort Worth. Committee participation provides countless networking and leadership development opportunities. Participating in a committee is also a rewarding way to gain a better understanding of the association. While the charges of each committee are strategically set by association leadership, it is up to committee members to accomplish yearly goals and objectives through the implementation of new ideas, execution of teamwork and realization of a shared vision. How to sign up

Involvement in a BOMA Fort Worth committee is a benefit of membership, so only current members are permitted to sign up for committee service. If you are a member and interested in being on a committee, please fill out the Committee Sign-Up Form. Simply mark the committees on which you wish to serve. Getting involved is just a click away!

Committee Descriptions

Allied Advisory Council - Act as a liaison between BOMA Fort Worth Allied members and the Board of Directors. The Council is appointed by the Board of Directors and reports to the Board of Directors. The Council meets monthly. 

Awards - Plans and conducts the activities leading to the selection of The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards, including the Earth Award. The Awards Committee meets as needed throughout the year.

Community Service - Researches community needs and develops plans to assist. The CSC meets monthly.

Education - Develops and provides programs that benefit the commercial real estate industry. The Education Committee meets monthly.

Government Affairs -Monitors, studies and recommends policy and advocacy strategies on legislative and regulatory matters that affect the commercial real estate industry. The GAC meets throughout the year, most heavily during a legislative year.

Membership/Programs - Plans and conducts the ongoing membership recruitment and retention programs of the association. This committee is also responsible for implementing new member engagement strategies and responsible for arranging/scheduling the programs for the monthly membership luncheons. The Membership Committee meets monthly.

Social Activities - Plans and conducts the annual networking events, which includes the Golf Tournament, Fall Event and Christmas Party. The SAC meets monthly or as needed.
