Community Service

BOMA Fort Worth researches community needs within Fort Worth and Tarrant County and develops plans to assist those groups and/or charities through volunteer time, lobby sales and various fund raising events. BOMA Fort Worth receives lobby sales and donations from members to assist in the funding of these drives.

The Community Service Committee (CSC) will support the following groups for 2019:

Toiletry Drive

BOMA Fort Worth partners with the Fort Worth Police Department (FWPD) to collect toiletry items for the senior citizens and shelters of Tarrant county. Annually we compete to see which group can collect the most items and who goes home with the "Golden TP" award. Join us next year by donating cleaning supplies, adult diapers, toilet paper, razors, bath soap, shampoo, paper towels, wipes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, dish soap, laundry soap, bleach, hand sanitizer, cotton balls, deodorant, combs, brushes, q-tips, etc.

YWCA - Coats 4 Kids

Goal: To provide a child at the Center for Transforming Lives (downtown Fort Worth & Poly Tech) with a new coat, blanket, backpack/diaper bag, toy, and a pair of shoes during the Christmas season.

Project Success

Project Success mentors unsheltered youth so they can break the cycle of displacement by providing a creative outlet through art. With the help of our community we can break the cycle! The BOMA Fort Worth Community Service Committee partnered with Project Success for our 3rd Quarter community service project. We are looking for volunteers/mentors to help out on Tuesday nights from 5:30-7:30p.m. during the months of July, August and September. Select the night(s) that work for you to either volunteer and create a craft project.  VOLUNTEER
