Join a Committee and Take an Active Role in the Industry
Participation in BOMA Fort Worth's member committees is an effective way to build your professional network and take an active leadership role in the industry. Committee membership is exclusive to BOMA Fort Worth members and all Principal and Allied Members are welcome to participate on committees.
To apply for any committee, go to the BOMA Fort Worth committee application. Membership on all committees is designated to the individual and his/her employer and is not transferable to another. Once the completed application is received, it will be sent to the BOMA Fort Worth office to present the application to the appropriate chairs for review.

Allied Advisory Council
Act as a liaison between BOMA Fort Worth Allied members and the Board of Directors. The Council is appointed by the Board of Directors and reports to the Board of Directors. The Council meets monthly.

Awards
Plans and conducts the activities leading to the selection of The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards, including the Earth Award and The Worthies. The Awards Committee meets as needed throughout the year.

Education
Develops and provides programs that benefit the commercial real estate industry. The Education Committee meets monthly.

Government Affairs
Monitors, studies and recommends policy and advocacy strategies on legislative and regulatory matters that affect the commercial real estate industry. The GAC meets throughout the year, most heavily during a legislative year.

Membership/ Programs
Plans and conducts the ongoing membership recruitment and retention programs of the association. This committee is also responsible for implementing new member engagement strategies and responsible for arranging/scheduling the programs for the monthly membership luncheons. The Membership Committee meets monthly.
